I have some exciting news to share!

Beginning Tuesday, June 23rd, 2026, I will be welcoming you to my new salon home, The Hair Gallery of RVA, owned by the wonderful Irene Cosby.

Many of you may not know that Irene and I go way back. We worked side by side years ago at Nirvana Hair Salon, and over the years we've remained connected through our shared love of this industry and the clients we serve. Being reunited professionally feels a little like coming home, and I couldn't be more excited about this next chapter.

I think you're going to absolutely love the new space. The Hair Gallery of RVA is warm, inviting, and full of character. It has that classic salon feel that so many of us remember and cherish—a place where laughter is shared, friendships are built, stories are exchanged, and beautiful hair is created. From the moment you walk through the door, I believe you'll feel comfortable, welcomed, and right at home.

A quick note about parking: street parking is available throughout the area, though there is not a dedicated parking lot. Parking is generally easy to find during the daytime, but because Cary Street is surrounded by several popular restaurants and local businesses, it can occasionally become a bit busier in the evenings. Since most of my appointments are scheduled during the day, I don't anticipate this being an issue for many of you. I simply recommend arriving a few minutes early for your appointment to allow plenty of time to find a convenient spot.

For your first visit, The Hair Gallery of RVA is located in a charming townhouse-style building right next door to a bicycle shop and directly across from The Clothes Rack Consignment and Thrift Store. These landmarks should make us easy to find.

As I reflect on this transition, I'm reminded of how incredibly blessed I am. Your loyalty, trust, and support have allowed me to do what I love for nearly 25 years. Whether you've been with me for decades or just recently found your way into my chair, please know how grateful I am for each and every one of you.
